Starting above the north end of Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park, the SWFL-TV PeliCam flies over Wiggins Pass giving you an unsurpassed birds-eye view of the southern half of Barefoot Beach Preserve County Park. The preserve is a 342 acre undeveloped barrier island with 8200′ feet of unspoiled beach and sand dunes.
The south end of the park is by far the best part. From parking lot #3, visitors can hike the 1.5 mile looped Saylor Nature Trail where they can experience many of the native plants and animals of the Preserve. At the trails’ southern most point is Wiggins Pass, a favorite spot for local fisherman and photographers.
