    09/04/2014: National Geographic Emerging Explorer, Luke Dollar, visited the Naples Zoo at Caribbean Gardens to teach several groups of Collier County fourth graders about the Fossa of Madagascar and the importance of science. Collier County Public Schools streamed the event, live to other 4th grade classrooms throughout the county, reaching approximately 3,000 Collier students. On the morning of August 19th, 2013, a nest of baby loggerhead sea turtles hatched on the dunes of Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park in Naples, Florida.
