Park Rangers at Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park in North Naples, continue the process of removing the excess sand that buried many of the loggerhead sea turtle nests along the beach. Thursday morning wasn’t the most ideal beach day as Tropical Storm Hermine made her way north past Naples, Florida, about 250 miles out in the Gulf of Mexico. The beach at Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park was re-nourished with approximately 12 inches of new sand from the storm.
