The Rotary Club of Bonita Springs Noon is pleased to announce that the Taste of Bonita 2011 was an exciting success!
With crowds of 4,000 enjoying the kick-off concert with The Caribbean Chillers, Cheeseburgers, and Margaritas, the weekend began with a laid back, enjoyable evening.
Sunday morning the crowds returned when approximately 9,000 converged on Riverside park to enjoy The Manipulators 5 hour concert and foods from 24 local restaurants. Smiles, happy bellies and a good time surrounded us!
Thank you, to the people of Bonita Springs and surrounding areas who joined us to support local and international charities.
Enjoy the memories!

When we conducted the first Taste of Bonita, we were hopeful that it would catch-on and grow, but never imagined that it would be the hugely successful event that it is today.
The 1994 brainchild of Rotarian and veteran restaurateur Tony Valego, the first Taste of Bonita was believed to be a success at the time. It was a great deal of work for members of the fledgling Rotary Club of Bonita Springs Noon, but with a first-year turnout of nearly 800 people and a small profit which helped support local charities, our hard work paid off.
Now the Taste of Bonita is truly Bonita Springs’ signature event attended by residents and seasonal visitors alike, the event’s attendance has grown more than ten-fold.
We’ve implemented many improvements over-the-years, but some things have not changed: all net proceeds go to charity, supporting the education of some talented local students and many of the neediest causes in our community, our nation and our world. Our local restaurants deliver their best dishes, our local musicians provide exceptional entertainment and our residents come out in force to celebrate the best that Bonita Springs has to offer.
