Lee County Parks & Recreation Dog Beach

You’re not the only one who enjoys going to the beach! Southwest Florida Television had a chance to cruise by Lee County Parks & Recreation’s Dog Beach and get a few shots of happy dogs running free and having a good time with their owners in a beautiful beach setting.

Bonita Beach Dog Park at Lover’s Key is located just south of Lovers Key / Carl E. Johnson State Park, just north of New Pass. The park does not have restrooms and instead has a portable toilet. Parking is free. This is an unsupervised facility. You are responsible for yourself, your dog, and it’s behavior.The future of this wonderful facility depends upon your ability to self-monitor.
